Hi all,

just a quick question, I am taking cilest birth control pill however I am also taking another drug, citalopram ( anti-depressant), which I am worried that will lessen the effects of the pill. Does anyone know anything about drug interactions?

Thanks

When I was on pennicyllen for my tonsillitus last month (i get it every 6 months the damn thing) I was told it was going to make my birth control in-effective. Check your pamphlet that comes with your pills. It lists all of the different drugs that will lessen the effectiveness of your pills.
