Hi there. I was diagnosed by my doctor as having ibs at the end of march of this year. I get a dull/fullness like pain under my left rib and tenderness/sometimes bloated feeling in my abdomen. The pressure seems more intense after eating and during stress. I am trying to research different approaches/alternatives/meds to take to ease the symptoms associated with ibs as this pain has been a chronic part of my life the last 2 and 1/2 years. Is there anyone on this site who was diagnosed with ibs/similar symptoms that have tried any alternatives to help ease the symptoms associated with ibs? Let me know if anything worked for anyone (any alternatives). I'd appreciate any advice here. Thanks.

I use vibe, a vitamin supplement by the eniva corp, and a probiotic the they manufacture. I can get you more information on these products if interested. I have ibd and ibs and possibly crohns according to a 2nd opinion after my last colonoscopy last aug. I started these products about 2 weeks after that and went into remission ever since.

Hi There.
Hey there. Yes, if possible I would like more information--on what you are taking (probiotics)--did the probiotic help your ibs go into remission? I was diagnosed in march with it after having and endoscopy, ct chest scan, and abdominal ct scan/along with bloodwork--(it all came back normal). I just want a to take a product (probiotic) that will help me specifically for ibs--and this site is really resourceful--from people's postings (which I like)--yeah, if you have any information that has helped you with ibs----i tried to check out your story from your web address---but it said 401 not found. Maybe you can give me the web link again if you send me some info to my e-mail address. Thanks for the response. I've been researching about probiotics--and just was interested in knowing if anyone on here has taken probiotics that has helped (especially for ibs). Thanks.
