My 10 yr old daughter had kidney stones in feb. Now having new problems. Right arm has been twitching for 3 days. Went to Dr. Said possibly low on potassium, and to eat alot of bananas and drink alot of gatorade. If still by monday twitching to get bloodwork done to ck electrolytes. Anybody have any ideas? Her arm between the elbow and shoulder just twitches, or spasms, and her hand tingles and shakes. Pretty much on a continuous basis. Her arm gets sore from the constant spasms.... Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks........

Whenever someone mentions muscle twitching I automatically think.....Magnesium. Look it up "symptoms of magnesium deficiency", and see if any of the other symptoms relate to her. I give my son extra magnesium malate(easier to absorb)...Try 2/day 8 hours apart, and once the twitching has subsided...Probably one per day will do. I get that occasionally especially if i'm not eating properly and am stressed, so then the muscle starts twitch....Actually can be seen by the naked eye. Take to bowel tolerance. :)

Thank you for your info. I did look that up, and she doesn't have any other of the symptoms at this time. I think we need to undergo some blood work to ck it all out. Thank you for your input. And I will ck into that further.
