Q: Back/stomach Muscle Tightness

For the past 2 months, I have been getting pain in my back and stomach. It usually happens about once a week, sometimes more. It is always in the late evening or early morning. The pain starts in the back and works its way to the stomach region.
The pain is fairly intense. I can't lay down or sit, so I walk around for an hour or so until the pain goes away. I don't know what is causing the muscle tightness/pain. If the stomach muscles get really tight, I get that vomit feeling but have never gotten sick.
If anyone has experienced similar problems, any information would be greatly appreciated.
I would just like to know what is causing this problem so I can go about fixing it. Thank you!

Did You Find Out?
I was wondering if you found out what was causing the pain? I am going through the same thing. I am also pregnant so the doctors are of course saying the back pain is from that, but like you the pain starts in the back and wraps around to my stomach...It was so bad they thought I was having contractions, but it was just the pain, I have been in the hosp for 2 weeks, and no answer. I have an endoscopy scheduled for next week. Good luck I hope you feel better
