Has anyone ever felt this way on the depo?

Is that ur first shot every? I was on it for two years and regret it totally now having trouble getting pregnant, and just had a m/c. But yeah I had them side effects. Especially the weight gain, not much. But alot to me. I had headaches alot of miagraines (spell??). But all I could say to solve the problem is stop getting them

All the women I know who have had the shot have absolutely hated it - two got pregnant! Another girl experienced an increase in her sex drive, but she was extremely moody. Extremely...I have never seen someone so bad. She wasn't like that on other forms of birth control - only when she started using depo.

I was on depo for about 2 years and I hated it I felt the same way I also had a mc and am try to get preg and having problems

Hey, I read your post and decided to reply. I actually am experiencing the opposite of what everyone else has posted about depo-provera. I have been on it for almost 2 years, and actually have never had one problem. I haven't even gained weight; actually i've lost a few pounds, but not purposely. My mood hasn't changed, and I never get a period, no cramps, nothing. I have been having doubts, only because I have heard horror stories about depo; bone loss etc etc. So I was thinking of trying the pill again (i had been on the pill before switching to depo, but I actually went off of it becuase I got severe depression and mood swings.) so I dont know, but I thought you should know that i've been on it for 2 years and everything is running smoothly that I know of.

I took one shot, gained 15 pounds(i was always really thin 100lbs) and I bleed for 3 months straight...I completely lost my sex drive had no libido whatsoever, my new gyno said that that happens when your on depo. I wish they would discontinue that caca!!
