Ye, apparently sperm can stay alive inside of a woman usually for about 3-4 days but can be upto 7.

I just read somewhere else that sperm only lasts 24 hours.... Ah now I don't know which one it is....

I ovulated yesterday and today and the last time I had sex was a week ago..... ( we haven't had a chance to in a week (lol ) ) anyways is there still a chance I could be preggo??? Cause now i'm confused.... How many days does it survive

I know that outside the body it last only about 24 hours or so. I think.....Not too sure.

Ok.... Im kinda thankful because I wasnt trying to get preggo.... I was just nervous cause I started ovulating yesterday and today and I thought is sperm lasted then maybe there was a chance... Thank you everyone :)

Yeah im going to the ghyno and im going to go on the nuva-ring... Then I wont forget... Cause it will be in there for a month. ( lol )..... Ya im having no signs except for going pee alot but thats ok.

Yeah I didnt think so ..... Im pretty sure im not just because I missed my ovulations. Unless its possible the sperm lasted for 7 days then I guess it could be possible , I mean its possible when you have unprotected sex anyway....

I heard that they dont' really work all that well and that the doctor will insert the first on and it will stay just fine but if you dont' do it the same way it will work it's way out and stuff. Ack.....Thats not too good.

My sister was useing it and I think she liked it.... But now she isnt with anyone so she isnt on b-control..... The reason I chose the pill is because they no more about its effects... Im also adopted and we dont know my family history ( blood clots , heart attacks ect... ) so thats why I was nervous but the gyhno said it should be fine.... Anyways ive already had the 5 hours worth of bleeding and then it went away so I didnt know if that counted as my period....

This is the whole story I had my period twise in march I had it in I had my period on the 19th for 3 days... Then the week and a half later I had my period for 5 hours on the 28th. So im not sure when I ovulated.... I had sex everyday or everyother a couple times a day from the 22- 30or 31.... This is why I dont know if I hit the ovulation or not... Im pretty sure I ovulated tuesday and wednesday but who knows ( lol ) I usually mark everything in a calender so I know the exact dates of everything......
This is why im just a little confused... Especially if sperm last for 7 days.... But I really dont think I get preggo easily cause I have had unprotected sex before a couple times ( like once a month ) and I never got preggo..... I only get preg once in january but ended up with a miscariage : (

Yeah.... Im just trying to think what else I can use as birth-control besides a condom..... I mean im so forgetful of medecine....
