Q: What to Do About Anxiety

Hi everybody.
I mentioned on an old post all the anxious effects I suffer. There is nothing specifically that has 'set off' my anxiety but I have been suffering it for about 3 years approximately (it seems a life-time to me). I'm 16 so I suffer no real life problems, exams don't worry me, I have great friends, I don't work but I know what I want to do and I have a great family. My only issue is my sensitivity - or how I excuse my anxiety - going into every situation with a nervous mindset, something I cannot change. Primarily when i'm nervous I feel drowsy, nauseous, I feel like being sick and I have a tight, constricting throat that makes me feel like i'm choking (this has to be my worst symptom) and I am constantly chewing to attempt to alleviate this. I just want to know what I can do about it. I would love to take medication but all medication can be addictive and have side effects. I don't care what people say, if you don't feel you alone can deal with the anxiety, then you come to rely and depend on the drugs. At least I know I would. I would need them. The question is then, what can I do about my anxiety? I don't want this problem to be with me for the rest of my life, which I know it will if I don't sort it out now.
