I have a buldge on my anus. I am pretty sure it is a hemorrhoid. My question--

do external hemorrhoids heal themselves or do I have to visit the doc?

you can do sitiz baths in luke warm water, and try and eat alot of bran.. Bran muffins..
Also no alcohol, or greasy food, they ususally never go away and if let un-attended , have the possilbility to break open.. Then you must go to the doctor asap.. Make sure your stool stays soft all the time..
Don't over push or strain the bowels, that makes them worse..
Mine have been under control with just a little bit of hot peppers or sauce.. It really works and you don't need to eat alot.. Good luck !
