I've read conflicting opinions on this. Most places that i've read up on this suggest that it does help. Personally...I do it. The way I see it...Even if it's something that 'might' work...It's worth trying. :)

I'm not sure if you read my post in the pregnancy forum...But here's what I had suggested to you there for finding out when you ovulate:

you should look this up through yahoo or google. Your best way to ensure that your maximizing your chances is to chart your fertility signs. Cervical position and mucous can tell you when you are most fertile. So can charting your basal body temperature. The reason for monitoring these things is to know when you ovulate so that you can be sure that you are having intercourse at the right time in the month (only a few days before...And day of...Ovulation). Anyway...It would take a very long post to actually give you the details on all this...So I recommend that you do a little research on it.

Hope this helps. :)

You may want to contact your doctor about your short cycles. I don't know if your luteal phase would be long enough during a two and a half week cycle for you to get pregnant. Implantation of the fertilized egg doesn't usually take place until 7-9 days after fertilization. Your doctor can check to see if you are ovulating and what you can do if your luteal phase is too short. You may also want to check out the book taking charge of your fertility.

Ovulation Calender
Look at it and when it says that you are ovulation have sex as much as you can! Then yes hold your hips up, you dont have to use a pillow. Lol i've done a hand stand to keep it all in there and not let any of it out.Lol. If you done something to keep it in there your notice that it takes a long time for it to come out. Thats a good thing!!!Kinda nasty, but hey!!
Good luck!! Baby ~*~**~*~**~*~dust to you all ttc~**~*~**~*~**~

I don't know if this is answering your question, but I watched a programme last night and apparently lying on your back for about half an hour after sex increases your chances of becoming pregnant...Not sure how true it is but its worth a try.
