I had an abortion friday march 31st, about
5 days ago.
At first saturday and sunday I did not
bleed really at all. Monday came, and
ive been bleeding like my first day of a
heavy period for nonstop 3 days now.
Everyday I wake up and think ill feel
better and I feel worse and the cramps get
so bad sometimes at night I cant sleep and
tylenol does nothing. I called a doctor
but he told me sometimes u get cramps and
bloating and bleeding. But im bleeding
heavy and these cramps sometimes are so
painful. I feel like im loosing it and I
cant take it anymore!!!

If you are worried then i'd go and see
your doctor but cramps and bleeding are
normal following a termination. Provided
the bleeding isn't 'excessive' then don't
stress (easier said than done I do
realise).
Make sure you attend your follow up, use
heat pads or a hot water bottle for your
cramps and don't try to do too much with
yourself just yet

The bleeding and pain all depends on how
far along you were at the time of the
procedure. Unforunately doctors really
aren't that sympathetic to patients who
have had that procedure done. I advice no
matter how much time has passed since your
procedure, and you experiance any gyn
problems immediately go to a gyn doctor
and have it taken care of. It's not
uncommon to have scaring and other
problems occur because of the abortion.

Scarring is very uncommon, and I know
because I am in the healthcare field
properly licensed and know what I am
talking about.
In an early abortion there is no scraping
and only suction used, onyl later term
aboritons that use instruments may cause
some lesions or slight scarring..But it
would be very slight!
Did you have a medical abortion or
surgical abortion hun? How far along were
you?
Have you been active??? If you are active
and moving around, or doing heavy lifting
than yur body will cramp and bleed worse
than if you take it easy!
Medical aboritons are known to have quite
heavy bleeding...
I have had 3 abortions, and I work in
aboriton clincs. I have also done other
healthcare related work.
Do you have a fever or anything?
