Q: Heel Pain

I have the most annoying pain around my heel.....It is on both feet, but much more painful on the right foot. I have been to the doctor and she mentioned something about "fachitis" (spelling?)
wearing heels, and lots of walking seem to aggravate it. Besides orthotics, what else can I do about it, and what the heck is it?
Hope someone knows something about this...Thanks.

Heel Pain

Don't wear flipflops. Had heel pain too and nothing helped until a Dr. Put me on naproxin 375mg. Three times a day for 2wks. It has been gone now for 2 yrs. But I did feel it after wearing flipflops for a few weeks.
