Q: Strange Pain In Left/right Lower Shoulder Blade Area

I'm a 20 year old female college student and have been getting strange lower shoulder blade area back pain. Its not really bothersome, just strange and I was wondering if it could have something to do with internal organs and not my spine. The pain is on both sides, right in the lower shoulder blade area, doesn't last long, but comes and goes. Is there anything wrong with me or am I worrying over nothing? Looking for some answers! Hope someone can help me!

You may be having muscle spasms, they come and go and sometimes can be so painful to take your breath away. If you can have someone press around in the areas where you get the pain, if it feels tender it is most likely tight muscles. If it doesn't feel like muscles I would give the doctor a call and see what they think. Good luck!

Shoulder Blade Pain Comes And Goes
We see many patients with these complaints. It is probably a postural issue. A chiropractor would be a good source of information and treatment for this. Find someone who will look at everything, the way you stand, walk, flexibility. If they just look at the mid back, they will probably miss the true cause
