Hi

i'm under investigation for gall stones :o( been having painful
"episodes" since jan and went to a & e twice sat night.

That looks like the likely cause after 2 doctors at a & e (i went back after the first bloke gave me paracetamol and it didn't help!) and a gp today have had a feel!!

Anyway getting private scan tomorrow cos nhs scan is a 4 month wait at the moment - fab. And then wait for nhs surgery if necessary.

Has anyone been through this?

What should I expect?

And post op?

I've done some reading on-line but more importantly my dr said today they wont operatate until i've been clear of an episode for 6 - 8 weeks. I don't think that's happened since before the pain started!!

Thanks for your help.
