Hi all, first of all I would like to
express my sympathy to all who have lost
babies secondly my post is pretty
descriptive. I had an intrauterine
insemination march20 and last monday I had
my progesterone level checked, it was low
but my nurse told me to go ahead as
planned and take a hpt the following
monday. While I was at work saturday
morning I started my period and soon began
having awful cramps. When I got home I
called my re and told him I had started my
period and he called me in my next supply
of clomid. After I got off the phone I
got in the shower, as I was drying off
blood was just dripping and hitting the
shower floor. I also began to cramp again
and to get some relief I thought to myself
push, so I did. I didn't push hard but
while I was pushing I passed a large clot
about the size of a bottle cap. I also
actualy felt the clot leave my body, it
felt like removing a tampon. I have never
seen anything like it, I had been passing
smaller clots all day but this one was
much larger. I read a post by a young
woman who had a similar experience and she
described her clot as looking like liver,
that is exactly what my clot looked like.
It was also thick and kinda rubber like
almost like skin. :?: at the time I
didn't think much about it I just thought
I was having a bad/heavy period, as my
last period was virualy pain free and very
light, but now I am curious if I could
have been in the early stages of pregnancy
and miscarried. I will call my doctor
tomorrow but I just wondered if this
sounds possible. I hope I did not offend
anyone by my post or turn any stomachs, if
I did please accept my apology. Has
anyone had an experience like this or am I
just being paranoid?
Thanks,
vanessa
