Q: Blood And Vomit?

I was drinking last night and got pretty intoxicated. Today, I threw up several times and there was blood in the vomit. I did not specifically vomit blood, blood just started coming out after the first few retches. There was not a "lot" of blood, and it was the same color/tone as blood coming out of any flesh wound.

Some other facts: I am 21. I typically go drinking about once a week. I normally do not get as intoxicated as I did last night, but I still get fairly drunk. I have only thrown up blood one other time (about 2 years ago - after another night of heavy drinking). Other than being worried about the blood vomit, I feel fine.

You might have had alcohol poisining, and if this happens every time you get really smashed i'd probably reccommend trying not to get that drunk.

I don't want to scare you but I just tried looking up your problem.

this is from the sight:

"
call 911 immediately if you observe any of the following symptoms of alcohol poisoning. A person could die if they don't get help.

* the person is unresponsive, passed out and can not be woken up .Any trouble breathing or not breathing at all
* cold, clammy, pale or bluish colored lips and/or skin .Vomiting while being passed out .Vomiting blood
* convulsions or seizures

"

i guess you're ok now though(i can't say for sure though cuz i'm no doctor), but it would be good to not get that messed up any more.
