Q: How can I prepare for a pregnancy if I've already had three
asked by: DoctorQuestion on April 2nd, 2006
I have had a total of three miscarriages now. My husband and I are trying to get pregnant. Within the last two months I have had two miscarriages. This last pregnancy we were not trying, it just happend. The miscarriage in Feb. was an obliated pregnancy. My question is, is there anything special we need to do before we get pregnant again? Should I have a DNC done? What kind of work up should we be doing? I am concerned because this is the third miscarriage for me and the fourth for my husband. (he was married before.) Thank you for your attention to this.
Sincerely,
Jennifer

Pregnancy Q&A Answer A929
How can you be sure that you had 2 miscarriages in the last 2 months?! What were the pregnancies’ ages? Four weeks?! Please give me more precise informations about your previous pregnancies, the complications/experience of the live birth, your husband's kids, etc.
