Well I had my 2nd scan today and was amazing the first scan only picked up one baby but today picked up 2 lil bubbies...Im having twins (woah) I am so shocked me and my mum were so excited when we found out.. Going to be so much work.. I heard the heartbeats n I cried lol.. I cudnt hold it.. And she said that she could only get the sex on one.. And its a little girl :) they keep changing my weeks around also first they said 12 and now im 16.. I dont know why the hell it such a big jump but it is... And she said im really little for the amount of weeks I am..

Soon I found out I went out and bought a lil outfit for her :) and mum has even started on me about names..

I rang up the babys father.. As he said he would like to help me as much he can.. He has paid for all the scans and has been great although... We had a fight a few days ago but it fine now.. He has been so great and helping me heaps... Buying me so much chocolate :o and the morning sickness and other things havent been that bad just a few times and that it... Been great..

Just thought would update you all and let you know :)

Re
12 weeks and 16 weeks are huge in difference.. Like developmentally. I could see maybe being off 2 or 3 ish weeks later in the pregnancy. But being a month off in the beginning. Thats like wow. I mean they just dont do a scan they measure your uterus and everything to see what size week your at.

Yeh I know.. The chick I went to at first was real dogey so I went to one in the city and she so much better :) she umm measured it all up and everything and looked at the bubs and they all healthy.. Mum real pist off though bout the other chick telling me im 12 weeks and now the other girl saying it clearly reads that im atleast 16 weeks.. I was pist off when I found out..

It kinda crazy now cause it double everything.. I have another scan in 2 weeks... To double check with things cause there was sum complications.. One heart beat is slower than it really should be.. The other baby seems really healthy tho.. So she just doing another check.. And I should be able to find out the other sex then to she said.. So I gotta do stretches and eat ice.. To try and make the baby move.. :s she said to eat ice anyway!!

Congratulations! It's quite unusual to be having twins at your age. I bet that was a bit of a shocker!

Umm twins are usually smaller than single babies, yet by measurements they have bumped you forwards by 4 weeks - major developmental time and they move you on 4 weeks a whole month???

And they are telling you the sex of a baby that is 16 weeks max probably 12 weeks when they usually can't tell before 20 weeks and then only if the baby is very co-operative.

Mmmm shoot me if i'm wrong but I smell kippers for breakfast.

That's what i'm thinking. She was 12 weeks and they found the genders? But then she's 16 weeks. Errm...Even I can tell the difference between 12 and 16 weeks via ultrasound. A tech certainly would have.

I see the faker backpeddle where they get caught and then they start making all this up about how they were so pissed about the doctors/techs being wrong and crap.

You'd think also with twins, they'd be smaller and it would be even more cramped so it would be harder to find out the gender so early. It's rare for even a singleton to know the gender at 16 weeks, let alone twins.

Well, at the moment, I believe her. I don't think she's lying. I've talked to her outside of this forum, and i'm pretty sure she's genuine.
I'm so happy for you, lucy! What girls names have you started thinking about?

to be fair, I edit a lot of my posts, but that's mainly for typos/incredibly stupid grammar errors.

i agree that the ultrasound folks getting the age off by an entire month is suspicious. I mean, there's a lot of growing to be done in a month.

Re: Re
I had a post, saying I edit my posts too and said lucy still had a lot of errors after the edits....But I re-read lucy's post and she doesn't have a lot of errors like I thought....I was thinking of someone else. Sorry!
But anyways I do think this is fishy as well.

Even says she's small for the gestational age so surely that would be more likely to result in them thinking she was less far along and to under-estimate the progress of the pregnancy rather than bump it forward?

However, she's a unique ip and as I said I may be wrong

Ok seriously you can all think what you want that im fake or wateva.. But why would I make up stuff.. For my dailey pleasure to make you all think im pregnant? Thats just stupid...

I am really small as it is.. And when they said I was small it was expected and its not weird having a twins at my age.. My mum was a twin and her sister had twins so it runs in my family quiet often.. And it goes bak more further..

The reason I make so many edits is because I type to quick and I dont read back.. It's not cause I change what I write.. I got a gay keyboard

as well I didnt find out the gender at 12 weeks.. I only just found out... And im 16 weeks.. And you can find it out then.. The lady told me you can find out at 15 weeks earliest if the baby is in the right position

thankyou so much tayzia, hehe your such a little cutie you are hunny!!!
Carrie-lucie.. I will sure be getting on to the ice...

I am little concerned about the whole heartbeat situation with the other baby tho, the lady said it is very low for the normal state it should be.. Im freaking out :s.. *crosses fingers* can only wish for the best :)
