My mom is having the worst menopause I
think. She has no appetite, gets
hot/cold real quick, feels dizzy all the
time, nausea, lost her interests, and
worst of all, she fears.
She is always jumpy, always scared, always
nervous, anxiety, heart races....
Is there anyway beside medication to make
her feel better?
I could only do so much, we live like 3000
miles away, and I try to talk to her on
the phone everyday to ease her anxiety,
kinda keep her mind occupied.

Hey again! - I remember last year my
family studies teacher was going through
menopause but she refused to take time off
school so we got really accustomed to her.
She needs something to keep her busy but
level headed. Like a hobby. Like umm hmm
reading, sewing, quilting, knitting, I
know these seem old ladyish but its
something to keep her going while putting
up with it. But yes she should go to the
doctor and get some medications, if she
can have them, just to help with the cold
and hot flashes - 4 dizzy spells get her
to take an iron supplement they help a lot
I missed half of my grade 8 year because I
had such low iron I couldnt stay awake for
more than 2 hours at a time and I was
always dizzy. Hope this helps!!! Good
luck to her! ~misty

oh..That's great help.
Though my mom just got retired last year,
so she is super bored nowadays, u can say
she is much of a workaholic! Ehhe..
She actually takes alot of hobbies since
she retired, taking computer classes,
taking chinese (mandarin) classes, taking
hair styling classes, and cooks and
cleans...Etc, she is like a super mom, and
she does have medication and she does take
them, but not all the time, I think it's
time for her to really take her medication
everyday and iron pills...That's a great
idea, she is like a vegetarian, so....She
does not get enough iron in her food
intake....
That's really great help, I will tell her
tonight, thanks alot misty!!!!!!
