I am a nineteen year old student who is currently attending college as a freshman. As a result I am under a lot of stress, as finals are coming up and I am concerned about my grades. Two weeks ago my teacher cancelled class as he was suffering from an intestinal virus. I mention this as i, the following week, went to bed on a tuesday night, and when I woke up on wednesday morning I was in a cold sweat, was nauseous, and had diarhea. While standing in the shower I became dizzy and for a moment I had blurred vision. My mom suggested that perhaps my blood sugar was low and afer I ate an orange I did feel better, just a little worn out. Over the past week I have had episodes where I feel nauseous, my head hurts, I have a runny nose, and slight abdominal pain. I am a little scared, as I have never felt this way before and am not used to feeling this way. I was wondering what the rest of you thought and if a good portion of my symptoms are due to stress. I should also mention that I was just ending my period as these symptoms came one so I was rundown.

It seems that you are probably experiencing a nasopharyngeal viral infection. When associated with mental stress, such a condition can worsen. You can consult your doctor about further actions.
