Hi,

previous to my surgery in november I kept myself on a low fat diet which helped tremendously and I lost 20 pounds as a result. I missed all those good foods so I decided about a month ago I was going to ease it back into eating some of my favorite things. Now this is my problem-i have been having terrible cramping and the urge to go to the bathroom but not always able. It seems it happens maybe 1/2 hour after I eat I get terrible pains worse then when I had my gb.

I went to my gastro dr and I had a catscan and everything came back normal (which is a good thing) so he suggested to go back on my low fat diet and check with him in about 2 weeks.

Has anyone had a problem like this? I did notice however that prior to and after surgery that I would have a bowel movement every other day but prior to going on the low fat diet I was going to the bathroom up to 3 times in the morning and it was pretty excruciating so the low fat improved things there.

So again, I was wondering if anyone is having discomfort after surgery like the cramping and urge to go but can't? The cramping is every day...

Thanks in advance.
