A couple of days ago, I was walking to the kitchen talking on the phone when all of sudden I get extremely lightheaded and dizzy. I mean it was instant and got on the floor and lend back agianst the wall thinking I was going to black out. I never did black out, the room wasnt spinning just the feeling in my head of being light headed and dizzy. It only lasted for about 15 seconds, but I have been kind of dizzy since. I went to the er the next day and got a full head ct and they said everything was fine and gave me a pill for my dizzyness which made me feel wierd.

Anybody else been through this?

Typical anxiety story there my friend... It may very well have been a panic attack as this is also how my anxiety started. Mine got so bad that I had to stop the bus I was travelling on and get straight off and walk back home. I was so scared of fainting or blacking out, as you were but I also did not. I went to the er later that day and was told that it could have been a viral infection. I then began to have severe headaches so I had a ct and mri scan to rule out anything serious... Nothing was found in any of the tests and I have now been formerly diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder.

I hope this reassures you, best regards,
james
