Q: Some Advice Please

Hey everyone! My little sister confided in me the other day (she is 16). She told me she was on the pill and is having sex with her boyfriend. When I tried to explain to her about the pill not been 100% safe, I asked if her boyfriend uses a condom and she told me he is allergic to them, then she went on to tell me that he has slept with 14 girls some of them he has managed to use sensative condoms. This is her first boyfriend, and when she is due to have an af she stops taking the pill (of course) and has unprotected sex, can she still get pregnant while she has stopped taking the pill. What should I do, I have advised her to have a std test just in case, but she does not want to know. Any suggestions waht I can tell her! Thank you

Wow!!!

I would go crazy if my sister told me that! Just the part where he slept with 14 girls. I would take her to get tested. I cant say much because I got on the pill when I was 16 but I was with that one guy for 5years and we lost our virginity together. But just tell her all the bad things that can happen with him being with all those that she really needs to get tested. I'm not sure about getting pregnant when she is off the pill on her cycle? I never did. Me and my husband never use anything and I was on the pill and never got pregnant. But everyone is different. If she just missed one she could get pregnant fast. Good luck!! Thanx so much for that advice! I would go mad but at her age she just thinks about how much she is head over heals in love with him. My mom and dad dont know!!!!

There are polyurethane condoms for people who are allergic to latex. (i am sensitive to latex myself, so he could be telling the truth about that.)

Yes she does need to go get tested. About the pill yes there is the possibilty of getting pregnant. I was on the pill when I turned 16 and ended up pregnant before my 17th b-day so yes I can happen. He could be telling the truth about the condoms cause im allergic to latex
