Hi

im 18 and have been seeing my girlfriend for a couple of weeks now and a couple of nights ago we tried to have sex. Only problem is, I couldn't get an erection. I've had sex before with my ex girlfriend but I occasionally suffered the same problem. It really is strange because when I am at home i'm so horny it's never a problem, but as soon as I was faced with having sex it didn't happen. Even when we are cuddling and it's not going anywhere, I notice that i'm becoming aroused, but when we start getting mroe intimate it jsut goes. It's very embarrasing, especially as it was gunna be our first time. As I said, I experienced some problems with getting/sustaining and erection with my last girlfriend which I think might be the reason for anxiety/nervousness, possibly the cause of the problem.

Can anyone give me an idea of whats wrong? Thanks

Hey Understndin
Hey, I know how you feel.

I am a female, but my boyfriend is also just turned 19 and we have been dating for a few years now and he has the same problem. We talked about it to other people and doctors, because he thought something was wrong, but they all just told him that it was just he got too worried to perform and the anxiety from the firt time he couldnt get it up spread to other times because hes worried he couldnt perform...Or as far as we were told...I think you should try to relax more, just think in your head I am gonna give it to her real good! Lol dont worry or even think as much as screwing up or something. I mean it happend to alotta people, your not the only person in the world...If the problem continues (which I think it wont I think its mental becuase you have been able to have sex other times) see a doctor. But it is probably just occuring from stress or something

thanks for the advice. Im' tyring not to worry but it makes me worry more! The girl i'm seeing is 20 as well so is blatantly more experienced than I am, which also puts on the pressure, but thanks for the advice. I will give it to her good!
