I'm a 33 year old female. I get this pain in the back of the left side of my head. It not a constant pain it comes and goes and sometimes my ears will ring or my temple will throb on the left side before I get it. Recently I have notice that at times my left pupil is bigger than the right. Also a few weeks ago the last two fingers on my left hand went numb. I went to the doctor yesterday and he has me scheduled for a ct scan on monday. I am so scared. I have been popping 2 bayer aspirins twice a day because im scared that I may suddenly die from a stroke or brain tumor. My doctor provided me with a nerve medicine to help but im still full of aniexty, just so scared of what theses symptoms could be. Has anyone heard of similiar symptoms?

Yikes
Yikes. Me too. Well, actually, I freaked out because I googled left hand tingle left head tingle and yor post specified left hand last 2 fingers and tha is me! Actually I woke up and it felt like I had slept on it wrong and it went to sleep. At first I thought/feared it was my other hand because I just sliced off part of the tip of my finger and it hurts. But I realized it wasnt but then my scalp was tingly too. So I brought the phone down to my computer just in case... But I thought stroke. But I reviewed stroke, and it is not the same (and tingle went away, I can talk, type, etc). But I am scared too. Let me know if you find out anything

all of you find yourself a chiropractor that specializes in something called "blair technique". There is not many of them in the U.S. just call around till you find one. The work on mainly your upper cervical (neck). You may have a misaligned vertebrae particularly C-1 or C-2. Google "Atlas Misalignment" Atlas is C-1 vertebrae.

The chiropractor the deals with neck and uses blair technique will get specialized xrays of your neck go over all ur symptoms and he will go from there whether that is whats going on or not.

C-1 misalignment can put pressure on your brainstem causing all kinds of different things to go wrong. GET IT CHECKED. You can misalign this vertebrae easily most people dont think about it. Pain is always last thing you feel before you know something is wrong.

let me know what u find out

Wow...I am having similar symptoms only the tingling in on my right hand. I too have reviewed the signs and symptoms of stroke and do not feel it applies to me. I have been experiencing this for about 1 month. for the last week i have had extreme pain on the left side of my neck starting at the base of my skull. It hurts to touch it. Maybe I'm a bit of a hypochondriac but I feel like to massage it or have someone massage it could do more damage. Pain killers has helped some. Today I went to a chiropractor. He adjusted me and gave me some therapy. Feeling some better from my neck but not my right hand. He did admit to being concerned about that and believes it to be a neurological issue. So, now I'm kind of freaking out, but not really. I will look into the Blair technique - thanks for that suggestion...Has anyone else found anything else out yet?
