Breast Feeding Question >? Posted: 01-04-04 18:04pm
Hey guys, hope you can help me with this.
I was just wondering when do you start
leaking, or when do you get milk in your
breast, when are you ready to breast feed?
I am now 8 m. Along and all I am having
is this clear-yellowish stuff coming out,
is this normal ? (sorry this is my first
)
what can I do to make sure I can have
milk? My friend told me to start pumping
(with a elec. Breast pump) can I do
that?
Please, please write me back, I know sence
I read like 3 books about breast feeding
that I do not have ingrowing nipples, so
everything looks normal so far.... :d
can you please give me some tips or so?
Thank you very much .

The yellowish stuff is colostrum (babys
first meal) very high in nutrients.. You
do not usually get your milk coming in
until after giving birth and the baby eats
the colostrum at first. I've been having
colostrum leaking since I was like 4-5
months pregnant. It can come at any time
and you should not be alarmed by it. Some
woman dont get colostrum until they give
birth as well.. So do not worry that you
don't have milk in yet, it will come when
its time. I'm due jan 23rd, wahts your
due date? Well good luck withe verything
.. Bye

Your milk will come in very soon after the
baby is born so do not worry the baby is
not born hungry so the colostrum is fine
for the first feeding.. Your milk should
come in later that day that your baby is
born..
