How Long will a Depo-Provera Injection Last? When does it W

i was woundering how long does it take for the injection to wear of because ive been having unprotected sex for about 16 months and i have gotten pregnant. im scared that the injection has caused problems. plz can you help.

One Depo-Provera injection introduces contraceptive action for 3-6 months. If you’ve used depo contraception consistently for a while, the last injection may take effect for a period longer than 6 months. Depo-Provera doesn’t cause complications if the woman becomes pregnant.
