hi scared,
why are you so afraid of seeing a doctor? Why suffer needlessly for a year over a condition that may worsen if you keep neglecting this delicate problem? You should know that you are worth being cared for.

Just by you given us this information alone is not enough for us to know what it is. We may have similar bumbs or sore, but that does not mean we have the same problem. I would hate telling you what I think it is when in fact it could be something far more serious.

If seeing a doctor make you so uncomfortable then at least talk with a female gyn over the phone to get an opinion, but you will most likely end up at the doctor's office anyway and you need to let her know how you feel so that she can at least meet your needs halfway, but you need to desperately get over your embarrassment to receive proper treatment. It's your life and you will be the only one feeling this pain. There's no one who will take care of you, so you must take care of yourself. You should say to yourself, I deserve to be pain free this year, enjoying life, shoot forget that my life and health are more important. I'm worth receiving the best of care.

The doctors are there to help not judge and they have seen all sorts of things.I know your casew ould not be the worst either! I use to be scared to go to the gyno and I asked if they see a lot of weird things and the nurse told me "we've seen everything!" so you should just go. Remember, they are there to help

My sister had a lump, not in the same place as you but it sounds like what she had. Hers was on her ankle and it could be moved around and was a bit squishy.
Her doctor removed the lump and it turned out to be torn muscle tissue that had broken away from another part of her body and settled itself in her ankle area. She has no idea how it got there or what part of her body it came from. It went as far as gravity would allow before settling in her ankle area.

Maybe you have something similar but what ever it is has floated as far down as it can in the center of your body.

Whatever the case, you need to have it looked at by a doctor. Lumps of any kind are nothing to take lightly.

Get your butt to the doctor. Fear of it being something serious should have you moving all the quicker. If it does turn out to be serious it is much better to get it treated sooner than later.

I bet its something fairly simple but you need to get it checked out, don't wait!

What if its something that if left untreated could eventually turn into cancer? Wouldn't you want it out asap if that were the case? I know I would.

I understand how you feel. I feel that way about the dentist. In order to go, I have to take a sedative. You can ask your regular doctor about getting one. If you don't want to tell her/him that it's for the gynocologist, you can always say you're afraid to fly and you need to take a trip next week or something. They can give you something like xanax and it will relax you.

Most likely the bumps are just cysts or something of that nature, but you do need to go get them checked out. If it is cancer (i'm not in any way saying I think it is or it sounds like it is), then you're still catching it relatively early since they haven't grown that much. If, however, it seemed like cancer to them before, there's no way they would have sent you home to wait and see. So, the doctor probably thought it wasn't cancer.

If you're having sex (and it sounds like you are) you do need to go to the gyno.

*hugs* it will be okay. Just do what you need to do to get yourself to the gynocologist.

Thankyou for your reply..
They don't seem to have got any bigger lately and only hurt now and again, I just wish they would go away on their own, I know that probably sounds silly but I just wish they would go away and then I wouldnt have any of this.. Ive got few other problems going on that I dont want to put on the forum but thyre not making things any easier...
Yeah I am having sex although we havent for a while but iveonly had one internal before and that was for another reason had no choice but it could have led to something more serious if I didnt. (sorry hope that maks some sense)
thankyou for your advice you were very reassuring.. Ill just have to see if I can get up the courage to go..
