Q: Nerve Pain After Inguinal Hernia Operations

After a double hernia operation I have had chronic pain in both my groin areas and down my legs. I have tried everything possible to try and relieve this condition to no avail. My meds consist of oxycontin, neurontin, endep and ordine. The pain specialist I am seeing has advised me to have a neuro spinal stimulator put in, I am wondering if there is anyone out there who has had this procedure done for the same condition. I am interested to find if there is anyone who has had any other kind of procedures for this and with any positive results. I am at my last wits and I am almost suicidal as I cannot put up with this pain any longer. Hope to hear from someone soon. With regards paul

Hi

I know this is an old post. I am trying to get to some of the older ones.
How are you doing? Did you have the stim put in? If so did it help?
So many people are suffering with these symptoms you mentioned.

Also did the surgeon use mesh to repair your hernias?

I hope you are doing OK.Smile
