Q: Vitamins And Sexual Side Effects

Hi,

i am a 31 year old healthy male. Whenever I take vitamin b-complex or paba, it clearly affects the intensity of orgasm that I experience. I just do not feel relaxed after the orgasm. I feel like the effect of orgasm does not reach the brain and it remains just limited to penis. If I stop taking the vitamins, the intensity of orgasm returns to normal and it becomes as pleasurable as before. I have tried variety of way such as using different brands, lowering the dosage level etc. But each time I use these vitamins, I lose the intensity of orgasm.

This is surprising, because in many sources, these vitamins are claimed to be helpful in treating the erectile disfunction and other sexual disorders. Because of these effects, I have not taken vitamins for more than a week. Shall I continue to take vitamin inspite of this effect hoping that the effects will go away, once my body gets used to vitamins or shall I stop taking vitamins? Can anyone think of the reason why this could be happening?

Thanks

Older published reports of uncontrolled investigations suggest that paba may be helpful in a variety of conditions, including dermatomyositis,8 peyronie’s disease (accumulation of abnormal fibrous tissue in the penis),9 pemphigus (a severe blistering disease),10 and vitiligo (a disorder in which patches of skin lose their pigmentation).11 however, paba was reported to cause vitiligo in one report.12

do you take cortisone? Paba is know for enchaning the effect of cortisone so maybe there is a relation if u take. If u don't, then I dunno.

But why would u take vitamins if u loose the fun in sex? Go and explain.

Thanks for the post.

To answer your question as to why I started taking vitamins, I started it I am getting grey hairs (prematurely) and I have heard that paba can restore the hair color or at lease stop the onset of grey hairs for some time. That is why. I recently started taking a multivitamin tablet and that is working pretty good. Paba is not part of that multivitamin. But I do want to take paba for my grey hair. I felt all those things I mentioned in my original post when I took paba in isolation. Maybe I will try taking paba with my multivitamin and see whether I can tolerate it.
