I have been having strange symptoms
recently and went to my doctor with them.
A couple years back I started to notice
that when I stand for awhile, get up from
a supine position , or are exposed to heat
my feet turn deep purple and red, and they
feel as if they are engorged with blood.
I can see a definite start to it about
mid-thigh. The opposite effect happens
when I lay down, they turn white and cold
and numb. I have a history of anemia,
endometriosis, high blood pressure. I am
twenty three years old and I haven't felt
well since I was eighteen or so. My
mother has these same things going on and
more including degenerate joint disease.
I am worried about lupus because my doctor
recently ran some tests for lupus and
other immunodeficiencies. Did any one
else's start like this? Or am I worrying
about nothing?
