I was wondering if people who had the "cant take a deep breath" problem and no longer do, could post what they did to cure it. Please, only post solutions here. There is a problem thread already.

I have a cup of hot tea, or mix a little bit of whiskey w/ some honey and lemon(s) juice... But it doesn't work for everyone, but it's worth the try.

OK, I have had this problem for a long time. Im 21, BUT I have talked to many friends who feel this too and we have all agreed that if you try and do something to take your mind off of it, it will go away. Basically, it's only a problem (for me) when I think about it. It's all in my head. My problem is now trying to figure out what I can do to quit thinking about it.

Extremely eHealthy
Have you seen a doctor about this. Could very well be you might have some bronchial constrictions which is easily controled with medication and inhailers. Do you have a history of asthma or anything like that. Is this inset something new? What I do is sit down in front of my computer and just search things or come on the board. I have had lung problems since age 5. Try breathing through you nose and a long fast breath out you mouth. Do this several times. It helps you levels. Have you considered anxiety? That is also a prime aftermath that goes along with it sometimes.
