Q: Going Off the Pill And Nausea

Hi!

I just went off the pill in february and i've been having a weird stomach thing lately. Toward the end of feb. Beginning of march I was having things like lower abdominal cramps, breast tenderness, increased sex drive, etc. Which I thought was probably a result of going off of the pill. My husband had me test anyway after my period was about a week late for a 28 day cycle. Problem is, before I went on the pill I was irregular. Anyway, the test came back negative and a week later I got my period. Well, here I am at the end of march wondering why i've had intermittent nausea for the past three weeks. It doesn't seem to have much of a pattern. Doesn't matter when I eat, what I eat, or anything. Could this still be a "side effect" from the pill, again? :?:

thanks!

Yes. I've heard of women having side effects from going off birth control pills.

I had terrible side effects while on birth control pills. As soon as I discontinued them, I felt much better.

Your body is coming off the hormones in the bcp and your cycle may be irregular.

Are you ttc?

Yes, we are trying to conceive, have been since february. The bcps made me feel sick for the first few months. Are you trying to conceive?
