For at least 6 months after having a minimally invasive hip replacement,
the back of my leg from my buttock to my knee, was extremely sensitive.
If something were to graise the rear of my leg,i would jump.

If anyone has experienced something like this, please reply.

I had a screw put in my hip at age 11 and I am still having strange sensations on the front of my right thigh...

It was really bad right afterwards but has been tapering off ever since.

At first it was a strange combo of numb/overstimulation. I couldn't feel some pokes or touches but if I tried to scratch an itch on the skin it could feel like knives!

It will tone down as your nerves adjust. I'm not sure if it is the body fixing itself or if you just become accustomed to the sensations.

Good luck!
