Well I was wondering if birthcontrol can make you more moody around that time of the month and if it can increase cramping or are those signs of pregnancy cause when I got pregnant the first time I got really moody more than I am now. How easy is it to get pegnant on the pill expecially if youve been on it for only 2 months :?

Side effects of birth control vary for each woman. Some women do get moodier while on birth control, and some do get more cramping. You might want to switch to a birth control with a lower level of hormones if you are experiencing these issues.
If you have been taking your pill at the same time every day (or very close to the same time, I think the window is 2 hours), then you are protected from pregnancy. It takes one full week for it to become effective, so you are fine if you have been taking it for 2 months!

Hi tiffany_02:

it certainly makes me more moody and gives me cramping. I never had suffered from moodiness, cramping, pms, etc. Before I got on the pill. For awhile I didn't understand what was happening, all I knew was that about the last half of the week before my period: I was mad at the world... Then absolutely terrible cramping would come. I guess for most women the pill can reduce cramping, etc. But not for me. Doc says its just the way the body reacts to the hormones sometimes. And like mariana said, if you have been taking the pill just like you are supposed to, then the chances that you are pregnant are highly unlikely. Good luck with the cramps, etc. I have just learned to deal with them. I give my husband a warning on the days of the moodiness so he understands. Hope this helps... Have a good one.
