Hi, I am a 48 year old female. I woke up several days ago with a pain under and slightly below my left rib. The pain is also on the left side of my back same area. It feels like gas. But I am starting to wonder. It dosnt hurt when I lay down at all. Sitting up and leaning down makes it worse. I have taken gasaid for several days but the pain is still there. I have been diagonosed with having diverticuli in my colon, I have been slightly constipated lateley. I had a bm this morning and I hoped it would get better but it hasnt. Does anyone have a clue what this could be. I know I have felt this pain before but it only lasted a couple hours at the most.
