Q: Slight Bleeding At 9 Weeks...

This is my first pregnancy and I started bleeding over night two nights ago. The first blood loss was about the same as a light period (i should have been due for a period around this time - any link?). I went to the hospital and they gave me an internal scan which showed the baby's heartbeat. What a relief! Since returning home, I continued 'spotting' through-out the day and a little bit the following day. Today it seems to have stopped - for now.
Has anyone had the same thing? Can anyone offer any advice as to what I can do to reduce any further bleeding? Does this mean I will lose the baby? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is very scary! I just hope that he or she can hang on in there for another 3 weeks at least....

:?

The fact that they saw the heart beat is encouraging.
I too have experienced some spotting and went for a scan.
I've been told to return next week for a follow up scan.
As they say there is very little you can do to prevent blood loss but good luck and keep us posted.

I too had some spotting. Its normal. Just make sure for the next month or so not to lift anything heavy. Try to have someone help you with laundry, groceries, etc. Even bending down can affect you. Remmember you are in an early pregnancy and anything can affect it. Best of luck to you.
