Good luck! I'm sure you'll do okay. I know it's really scary at first, but don't let yourself miss out on all the good things about being pregnant.

My name is kim, and I am 18...I was 17 when I found out I was preg and I just had my daughter 11 days ago. It really is amazing being a parent. I know it isn't the most ideal situation being 16 and preg, but since its happened and you've made your choice on what to do (i am assuming you've decided to keep the baby as that is the vibe I got from your post) try to enjoy it as much as possible.

For the morning sickness try sour patch kids...They were my invention cure for my morning sickness...Which was awful, I couldn't even get out of bed for weeks (what a stupid name...Morning sicknes...As it clearly can last all day :p)

anyways once again good luck and if you need to talk to anyone feel free.

Girl, Your Not Alone Girl...
I am 17 and I just found out a few wks ago that im also preg. (9 weeks now). I know its gonna be hard because im still in school and everything. My boyfriend and his family are exited but that doesent calm my nearves. At the end of the day I know that they are not having the baby...I am. Things are really changing for you and me mentally and physically!! Being a teen mom might be a little tough but I think we will be okay as long as we spend these next few months to mature and to prepare our selves for this new arrival. Hopefully since you and I are in the same boat, we can go through this together. I just thought it might make you at ease to know that your not alone and ill be here if you need someone to talk to!

Everything will work out fine for you sweetie! You can do it. As for the morning sickness, talk to your doc and he/she will give you some kind of medicine for it. Keep your head up!

Good luck to you. Everything will work out. As far as morning sickness goes if you are taking prenatal vitamins - take them at night. I had to for both of my pregs. It helped tremendously.

What Can I Do?
I am 17 and my boyfriend is 18 going on 19. We have been together for almost a year and a half. We have been trying to have a baby for the longest time. I get so sad because all of my friends are so happy with their babies. Is there anything I can do that might help us get pregnant?

Astroso6- I dont wanna be mean or anything but, u only been with ya bf year n half. And u are trying for a baby, me and my bf 19 and we wernt trying for a baby, I was on the pill. But happend get pregnant, I dont even know if I wanna keep baby, its so much hard work!!! Shouldnt u wait get career and good job, n buy house, and have baby then. Cause jus cause ya mates have babies dont mean that they happy all the time, sleepless nights, and having take em every where with them, not going holidays, and stuff, thats whats puts me off babys, they needs constant attention and money and everything. Dont go rueining ya life, like ya mates.... I mean there life may not be ruiend, but I mean baby aint easy, they may look happy but u cant be sure they are, I hope no one takes this post the wrong way, u have ya whole life ahead of ya to have babies... Enjoy ur life with your bf for while...

I am happy for you, if this is what you want but you have your whole life in front of you. What do your paarents think and the father of the baby- to-be think? Will they help you? Well you finish school?
I do wish you the best of luck!
I am here for you if you need someone to talk to..

marriage isn't necessary - but being stable in your own life is.

Yeah, I know. It just seems to me that so much emphasis is put on being married these days, as if it's an automatic happy, stable home. It confuses me a bit.

if you have to 'put up' with him, then ditch him now. You'll be a lot happier.

I wish the best of luck to you. I found out I was pregnant when I was 17, I turned 18 in september and my baby is 3months now and the father stayed with me, I hope your relationship works out with the father. Me and my bf have been together for 6years now, but I cant say it was easy, we had our typical on and off relationship, but it all worked out so far, lol ^_^ but, yea if you need any help or have any questions there are wonderful people here willing to help ya out. Erm... Dunno if youve been here but this is a pretty good website, I went to it when I was pregnant .Best of luck to you and congratulations!

First and foremost, congratulations!

I'm 17 and almost 19 weeks pregnant. At first, I was completely horrified, not for myself - but for my child. I wanted to make sure I was going to be able to take care of my child and give him/her everything they ever wanted or needed. With the support of my boyfriend and his family, my nerves have now been calmed and I cannot wait to bring this child into my life.

I know. At first, at such a young age, it's both completely scary and exciting. But once you get over the initial shock.. You'll be more excited than ever.

You'll do great. If you ever need anyone to talk to - i'm always here!

Good luck!
