Hey I can relate to you with triplets, i'm definitely not their mom but I saw how hard it was for our family at first. My cousin beth (their mom) got them on a schedule when they were first born so they slept from 7 at night til 7 in the morning, and they ate every three or four hours after that. They were pretty good babies so it wasn't as bad as you may think.

But it does get a heck of a lot easier as they get older, you don't have to carry them everywhere, they can walk now. You don't have to feed them, they can talk, and it's a lot of fun. Being so young I can understand why you're scared but try to think of the positive side, you'll definitely need help though you can't do this alone.

Re
..So two eggs were released and then one split..? So your having both identical and fraternal twins...?
Gee I wonder what the chances of that are. Probably the same as winning a national lottery getting struck by lightening and dying in a plane crash all in the same day.

Maybe I am a little slow...

But someone on my other preggo boards is having twins. And they could not tell if they were identical until she was 20 week ultrasound when she found out they were sharing a placenta. And even then it was only a 90% chance of them being identical, because faternal twins can share a placenta to if the placentas "grow" into eachother.

I am just a little confused how, they can tell that early that two eggs were released, and one of them split into two. I thought all eggs or embryos looked the same on the ultrasound?

But then again, I could be wrong.

Could have had an amnio (they can tell the sex of the baby and also if twins are identical or fraternal I think) but I may be wrong. Never had one so I have no first hand experience. Meh.

The triplets across my street are identical twins and one other one. Their mum had fertility treatments, though.

It's really hard to tell who to be suspicious of these days, isn't it? :?

I understand that there are some people who lie on these things, but should you wait before judging someone, until you acctually know the situation... I decided to come here for support and not ridicule...Im getting enoguh of that, trust me...If you would like some explenation, here it is

i found out I might pregnant with triplets in my 7th week, me being as tiny as I am, I was scared shitless...And because of my families medical history, the doctor wanted to make sure everything was ok with the babies, so he decided to do a vaginal cvs...We did that 2 weeks ago, where I found out they were not only healthy, but 2 were identical, which if you acctually knew about triplets, you would know is more common than some think...Im sorry if I sound snotty, I just dont feel you have any right making me justify or explain myself than I have doing it to you...

Re
Why did he do a vaginal cvs? This is what i'm finding on websites
that its not done in multiples pregnancies

""although cvs is considered to be a safe procedure, it is recognized as an invasive diagnostic test that does pose potential risks. Miscarriage is the primary risk related to cvs occurring 1 out of every 100 procedures.

Cvs is not recommended for women who:

have an active infection (i.E. Std)
are carrying twins
have experienced vaginal bleeding during pregnancy""

and I still dont see how it determined that you were having both identical and fraternal twins

Yeah I am pregnant but only with one and I will be 18 in november so I will still be 17 when my baby comes im due sept. 2 which is coming sooner then I thought, I think one is enough and they are expensive, I would be scared and angry too if I found out there were 3. Expecially if its ur first baby you know? Which im assuming it is cuz your my age, but I could be wrong. Its good to have support so I hope you do, and if you need anything you can talk to me. I will help you as much as I can?! Have you found out the sex of the babies yet? Or not?
