Hi. A week ago I noticed a small bump on the crease of my bikini line that was tender to the touch.

It has now grown to be about an inch long, and less than half an inch wide. So, it feels tubular. Anyway, there's no discoloration on top of the skin, but it's very tender to the touch. If i'm sitting for long period of time in front of the computer and then stand up, it hurts even more.

Could this be some weird bruising underneath the skin?

I'm sexually active, have had the same partner for a year and i'm trying to think if we have done anything differently lately that would cause me to be bruised in this area. I can't put my finger on anything. Again, the skin is not discolored at all. It just feels like a tender mass underneath the skin.

I have an appointment with my doctor on monday, but i'm kind of freaked out and would like to know if anyone has heard of this. Again, it's not on my vaginal area, it's on the crease where my bikini line ends and my upper thigh begins.
