I had my back bottom tooth pulled 3 days ago I had a broken tooth that was split in half on a nerve... The gum where the tooth was in very swollen and painful is there anything I can do to help it?

The best thing you can do after you've had a tooth out is rinse with hot salty water - about 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of salt in a cup of water as hot as you can stand it. This is the best thing to kill any infection and stop any new infection forming. Rinse 3 or 4 times a day and after you eat anything. If the pain doesn't get any better or gets worse you might have a dry socket and you will need to go to your dentist again to have it dressed
