I skipped a day of birthcontrol. If I got pregnant would continuing to take the birth control for that month hurt the baby?

Hi:
missing pills always decreases the effectiveness of the pill. You should just use a back up method (condoms) if you have sex or just wait for a couple days to have sex again. I have missed a pill before and just taken it as soon as I remembered. Sometimes if you miss one you will have to take two on the same day, but you definitely don't want to skip the pill all together because you forgot about it. Chances are, that you should be fine. How long do you have until you get your period? That is usually when you would really want to start worrying if you miss your period. I don't think short term use of the pill would have an effect on the baby, but more than a week or two probably wouldn't be very good. If you miss your period though, just take a pregnancy test. Missing one pill probably won't be a problem (with my experience). Hope this helps! Have a good one.
