Hi
i was posting in early signs and symptoms of pregnancy but I have read some things here and everyone seems really nice. I am 19 happily married my husband is a nurse and I want to be a homemaker and mother. I have been off the patch for several months and ttc. But my periods are every other week screwed up by the patch and I did not think I was even ovulating, than right after my week long period my husband and I had intercourse and than about 7 days later at night I noticed a little blood and very stretchy weird cervical mucis it lasted only till the next after noon. But no blood per say the next day more light pink mucis. Now everything seems normal again. Could it have been implantation bleeding? I am going crazy waiting. How soon after implantation can you take a pregnancy test? I am a little confused because of my odd period schedule. Please reply I am trying not to get too excited in case i'm wrong.

Thank you for reading I would really love some replys

In order for that to be implation you would have had to ovulate right after your period ended..Which some women do. Its sounds like implantation but its not 100% . You can test when ur supposed to start your period. Since your periods are messed that might be hard but generally waiting 2 weeks from when you think you conceived is a good rule of thumb..But again with your screwey periods it hard to say.....Sorry I couldn't be more help
good luck

If you want my honest opinion, you are not pregnant. If you get your period every other week, that is not enough time for you to ovulate and have the embryo implant. If you are trying to get prgenant, I would first rcomend getting a book called taking charge of your fertility. It explains everything you need to konw ant I know it has helped many people to get pregnant. It is also good to read if you are trying not to get pregnent. Good luck to you.

Extremely eHealthy
Everyone is different, I just wanted to say that because I got my period on 11/12/05 well my baby measures 2 weeks bigger and they changed my due date by two weeks and it says tht I would have conceived the day of my period. But I know that I conceived two days after my period becuase my husband went out to sea the next day. (get my drift)

there is a 'table'that people follow when trying to conceive but each person's body is different and ovulation could be off. I think most people ovulate like 2 weeks after your period...But I don't know.

Thanks For All Replys
Well I am now thinking that if I am preg. My egg was probably fertilized towerds the middle of my period and than implanted a couple days after my period ended. Well today or tomorow is when my "weekly" period should start. It is always on time. Its weird to have an exact period that happens so often but I guess it makes it easier to tell if I am really pregnant. Since it happens so often I dont have to wait a month
well so far no signs of my period coming it would be cruel if it suddenly decided to be regular again. Lol.

Thanks again

I dont know what the rules are here for posting links but I thought this might be helpful to you to understand what I am talking about. I think this site would really help you if you are trying to get pregnant. You should read as much as you can. For some people it isnt as easy as just having sex. It might take some effort so it is important to know what is going on with your body as much as possible.
