Q: Odd Symptoms

I'm haveing symptoms that seem thyroid related and my tsh came back normal.

- I can't focus my eye's
- I felt nervous for the past 3 weeks
- I feel hot
- pressure around my eye's and head
- some trouble breathing
- my throat started to feel sore, swollen and a lot of saliva
- some trouble swallowing
- anxiety and stress
- heart beating fast

with all these symptoms I would imagine that if it was a thyroid problem that it would show up in the blood test. If you have any information you could share I would appreciate it.

Calcium?
Kyon have you had your serum calcium checked? My tsh came back normal 11 yrs ago then I had a critical calcium buildup thanks to a benign growth in the parathyroid [small glands right by the thyroid]. Untreated can lead to coma. Do ask someone - i'm about 30 yrs younger than average for this, & docs were surprised. Surgery relatively easy & life better.
Best wishes xx

Same Here
I am 47 yrs old and for months now I have had a feeling of tightness under my chin, around my right ear, in my throat and some redness on the right side only. I have had so many tests and my tsh was 31 at one time but back to 16 recently. I had a ct of my head and it showed some sinus infection but nothing else. I have mucus in my throat when I wake up and I also now have chest pain and stomach pain. I am about to have another ct and ultrasound of my throat. I read something about stones in glands and when I viewed the picture of where the saliva glads are; this is exactly where my pain and discomfort is. This is making me so sick and mentally crazy; for months I have had this and no tests are showing anything. I also run a very low fever but the ct did not confirm any infection in my body other than in my sinuses. I hope that the next ct and ultra sound will reveal what this is; it's taking my livelihood away..
