I am approximately 11 weeks pregnant and I have known for 2 weeks, I have done a lot of research and thinking and have came to the conclusion that I want to have an abortion.

I already have a 14 month old child and due to family problems I feel that I would not be able to give the urnborn child full support etc.

At the moment nor myself or my partner have a job at the moment and my partner has been diganosed with deperssion, also my grandmother (whom I am very close to) has been diagnosed with cancer. So at this time I am not finacially stable etc.

I just wondering those of you who have went through with an abortion do you think I will be referred by my doctor for one when I explain my situation?

I do not want to be judged I just want some advice. I am from scotland but I cannot seem to find any forums for scotland.

Thank you in advance

We are not here to judge you! If someone does judge you here for wanting an abortion, just ignore them, as they are not walking in your shoes and they do not understand that you have more that enough on your plate, if you understand what I mean. I feel it is your body and your choice and you are doing what is right at this time for you and all at this time, I know and you know that it is not an easy decision but something needs to be done and the sooner, the better.

The very best to you and yours!

I'm from england but I do know one person in scotland who has had a termination and I think the situations for referal are very similar (although there is a difference in time limit). I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be referred.

I have had an abortion because I judged it best in my situation and, whilst it wasn't "easy" I do believe I made the right choice. What does your partner think?
