My blood test was not positive until 9 weeks! Some women do produe hcg slower and some levels are so low they are difficult to detect. However the majority of the time they are accurate. Just wait it out and keep requesting blood work from your doctor. In fact you could have an ultrasound done which would detect an early pregnancy

Thanks for the post. I'll keep my fingers crossed. How likely is it that a blood test done when only 2 days late is gonna be accurate?

My blood test came back neg. A few times. Finally when I was showing at 5 months it came back as pos. Weird huh? Then wen I went to the er one night I was almost 6 months pregnant and my blood test said I was 6 weeks pregnant. My baby is fine now, and my hgc levels are "normal" now but it sure was weird in the begining!!

First of all congrats to darling. The only advice is if it not pos and you feel preggers act like you are it is better to be safe than sorry and in two weeks check again or get an ultrasound

I'm not preggy yet! But I have been pergnancy before which was when it did not show up on the blood test till 9 weeks. Best of luck to everyone trying to conceive! I think it worked this month.

Lol! Well I stood on my head for a long time after every time but I just....Feel pregnant. Although my last pregnancy was 6 years ago you just know the feeling....Then again I might be wrong but my breasts are extremely sore (which they never are) and i've had cramping. Not sure just speculating! I'm really hoping for a big sign!!!!

You know after my miscarriage I thought I wouldnt be able to come back on the forum to hear about other people being pregnant but its the exact opposite. I love to read the post they make me smile . I know the reason I had my miscarriage it wasnt meant to be but I know someday I will have beautiful healthy children.

Omg someone please relate, I feel 100% pregnant. However my blood hcg is negative, I am 2 weeks late with my period. 6 weeks since first day of my last period.. Has anyone else had this problem??

I have not had the problem however my cousin did and she was unfortunatly miscarrying at the time when it was positive just be careful

i had that. I totally felt pregnant. But all my tests were saying no. Then about 2 days before I was gonna go in for my blood test, I miscarried... I knew it all along that I was pregnant, but no one believed me. It was definitely hard. Good luck.

Im going through the same thing right now.All the tests point to no but all the symptoms and the way I feel point to yes.All I can do is wait to see what happens at time for my next period and pray that I get some results.Good luck to all of you!!!Maybe my patience can hold out another 3 weeks or so.

Hi to you all, been reading the posts and ive noticed some sayin how they have symptoms like breast pain/tenderness and cravings and stuff. Well I think im weird becus im totaly the oposite I used to have more cravings before than now and I used to get pain in my breast round the time of the month but now I don't... Even though my test results are negative which is anoying becuz I need them to be accurate :roll:
