Eye Pain
I've also had this problem. It hasn't gotten better at all. If I turn my eyes from side to side or up and down, they hurt. I don't think it's eye strain because my eyes aren't red. Anybody help please???

I have the same thing, and I thought I was the only one. It makes me a little more relieved that it's not just me. Only one of my eyes hurt though. It started last night, and I took an advil before I went to bed, thinking it would be better in the morning. But, now it still hurts. I do spend alot of time on the computer, on myspace of course. lol. but my eye hurts! it's driving me crazy.

Someone please help!

Thankyou!

It's sinus pressure
hahah. i read what everyone typed and some of these responses are just sort of silly. this is not an eye disease their is no need to panic. it's just simple sinus pressure. i had this today. to relieve the pain just take medicine specifically anything dealing w/ sinus pressure. i took a midol & the pain went right away. sinus pressure can happen just about anywhere on your face. you think eye sinus pressure hurts? try having sinus pressure all over ur face all in one day! haha but i hope i helped. =0

Eyes hurt when moved
when I move my eyes then mucus comes to my nose and it really hurts to move them. I woke up 2 days ago and I could barely look at a thing.
Please help... Unbearable. I go on the computer a lot and I can't see far away so I stain my eyes. Could that be part of it?

I was the same,
I was the same as you guys, im a 16 year old male and i play my xbox alot Smile

My symptoms (cant spell ^.^):

Dizzy when Sitting - Standing or Crouching - Standing
Sore Head - Constantly
Eyes sore when moving left to right or up and down
turning head to quick made me dizzy too

Luckily mines has almost went away by its self it has been 2 days and my eyes dont hurt as much when i move them left to right, i drank 6 Liters of water over the 2 days (3 Litres a day)

To cure the dizzyness when i stood up (This is gonna sound STUPID but it acctually worked) Lie on the edge of your bed and put your left (or Right) foot on the floor and just lay there for an hour or two, i fell asleep doing this so i was there for 9 hours hehe Smile

It also feels like i have the flu so i took a nice hot bath and i am going to sleep in 5 mins Smile hope i am better in the morning, Good luck all Smile

I went through the same things.
I'm 24 male
Just to let anyone know last week the back of my eyes was hurting and the lower part of my forehead as well. This was going on for 4 days. Some ppl told me it was a migraine or something, I still don't know what you really would call it I guess eyestrain, but I got it from being on my computer for a long period of time. Soon as I took one advil and Visine-a eye drops the pain went away IMMEDIATELY! I was so happy I wish I took them earlier.

My symptoms: pain in the back of eyes when moving them up or down, lower part of my forehead hurts as well, felt sick like I wanted to threw up, wake up in cold sweat at night, bright lights make my eyes hurt more.

I say if you're going through this try "Visine-a eye drops" for one week and advil works for me. Keep a warm or cold rag over your eyes, and stay away from your computer!!!! bright lights hurts my eyes but I did watch tv, but say far from it. lol

My eyes are great now and I hope who ever need this info find it helpful and hope you feel better soon.

same problem
I've been having the same damn problem , as many of you described.
I'm 18 years old male , and my eyes started to hurt just yesterday. Through the day the pain is slightly lower , but when i wake up in the morning the pain is unbearable.
I'm also sitting infront of my computer for the most of the day and i'm not sure if that should be the problem , because if it is , why does it all happen right now?
I am feeling sick , when i smoke i feel like coughing and the cigarettes are too strong somehow in my chests..
So I think that could be the reason , or the sinus pressure.
I'm going to wait for awhile , if this keeps on going i'll just tell my parents and we'll see what they'll do about it .

i have it right now too
this is from acute sinusitis, caused by inflammation from excess liquid in the sinuses around the eye after a cold. Symptoms include headache, fever, sore teeth, bad breath, pain when looking left right or up, runny nose, and mucous producing coughs.

eye pain
I have had same basic problem. Looking up/down or especially left/right causes pain in the back of my eyes. Too often and I get a headache. I have also had a mild headache when I wake up and sensitivity to light.
Turns out I have high blood pressure. As soon as I began taking medication my eyes stopped bothering me. Actually the pain in my eyes is a reminder if I am late on a dose. Just something to keep in mind...

Hey Butterfly18 have you ever try using Visine-A eye drops? When my eyes was hurting I use that and it worked for me soon as I used it.

Sure so did it work? My eyes was hurting for 3 or 4 days. It hurts every time I move them up, down, left or right. A guy told me to try the eyes drops and it worked great for me. I still don't know why lol. Like you said my eyes wasn't burning or anything just hurt when I move them.

and for some reason the eyes drops got ride of my headache too.

I think I was straining my eyes. I'm ways on the computer.

I had a fever just around this Thursday-Friday, I got over it and today somewhere during afternoon and the evening, my eyes started to hurt when moving too far in any direction. It also hurts when I shake my head quickly. The pain is I think in the back of my eye sort off and I hope its not some dangerous disease where I would lose my eyesight . . . help anyone?
