that's right. 'spooky' names. Including .It, .Lurch, .Bluebeard, .Dracula, .Darth (for feck's sake!), .Freddie .Krueger, .Fester and .Sasquatch.

I don't even care if it's a joke (which it must be), because you know some little fool teenygoth is gonna decide naming their child '.Desdemona .Cruella' or '.Lestat .Vlad' is a good idea. (and .Desdemona does not mean 'of the devil'. I'm pretty sure it's the female version of .Desmond.)

Hahaha! Do you think people honestly use these names? Because it would seem like the ultimate joke for your parents to name you .Fester.

I bet someone out there has. Said someone probably has the last name of .Adams and thought it would be funny. Their kid disappeared in the .Bermuda .Triangle and reappeared many years later, renamed .Gordon.

I would possibly consider giving these names to cats or handpuppets or something. Not a human child, though. Might as well call them .Gothboi .Emokid as .Lestat.

People seriously called their children after the teletubbies? Can't they just do what I did and name their .Oregon .Trail family after them? There's nothing more satisfying than seeing '.Laa-laa has dysentery' pop up on your screen.

I do remember some poor kid in the uk being named lala. There was also an ikea. Some people really should be sterilised.

I give my sims names that I wouldn't give my dog. Those .Sims satisfy that bad naming urge.
