You don't have to tell your mother you're sexually active. You most likely have a urinary tract infection and anyone can get them whether or not they're having sex. Just tell your mom your symptoms and that you need to go to the doctor. They'll ask you questions about your symptoms and if you're sexually active (so you might want your mom to wait outside) and take a urine sample. After they test the urine, they'll give you antibiotics (if it's a uti), which will start to make you feel better in about a day.

But you need to get treated right away because it can sometimes lead to a terrible bladder infection and make you very sick. Don't worry, it happens to a lot of women when they start having sex. Very common, very fixable. Just make sure you always pee after sex from now on!

If You Are Having Painful Or Itchy Urination And Can't ....
And if you can't get to a doctor, try spreading plain yogurt on the vaginal area, and drink lots of cranberry juice preferably the less sweet and bitter tasting the better. I used this when I was traveling in europe and it warded off a doctors visit to a foriegn doctor.
