Hi , my name is melissa, I just turnrd 39 last month and have been living with this horrible excruciating back pain. It feels like my upper needs to twisted to the left so I would be straight .The muscles on the side of my spine cramp and are really tight and feel like they are on fire.My neck at the base of mt skull on the left side of my head also hurt really bad ,are they conected some how that if the left side of my spine is messed up it would affect the right side?I go an indian clinic but all they do is keep me on pain meds& naproxen &flexeril only to wear off toquick leaving me still in pain.He does ultrasound shock waves or something like that ,but it only feels ok after an hour or two after the treatment,i don't know what is causing this awful pain ,all I know is ican't live like this any longer,i'ts to painful& is affecting me mentally&,emotoinally as well . The only time i'm not hurting is what little sleep I manage to get, i'm open for some advice& or suggestions as well as prayer,i hurt really<really bad"
waiting in faith for your reply& still in pain, melissa
I am very sorry about your pain!
I seem to be having the same problem, although not as intense, adn I am only 20 years old. Like you said, the pain is in my middle back, on the right side, right under my bra strap. I have been having it for over 3 months now, and it is not usually too bad, but it has gotten worse!!
I talked to my mother's boyfriend who is a doctor, and he said it could be my bra! It seemed very strange to me. I am heavy chested, and tend to wear cheap bras since I don't have the kind of money to go to victorias secret. He told me to buy an expensive, supportive bra and that might help...
Otherwise, he told me it could be muscle spasms, which could be helped by muscle relaxers.
I would talk to the clinic about possibly recommending a specialist. I know it can be expensive, but with the kind of pain you are having, I would imagine it might be worth it.
I hope you feel better! If my pain doesn't go away in the next month, I am going to see a specialist. I will let you know what they say.
