Q: Meniers Disease

I have meniers disease and thought I should let people know what works for me. When I have a severe attack the only way to stop vomitting is to go to the hospital. I have finally found an alternative. I had my general practitioner doctor prescribe me the seasickness patch (that you put behind your ear). Well it stops the vomitting, I still feel horrible but I do not have to go sit in an emergency room. My ear nose and throat doctors didn't seem to be too impressed with this new information, which is why I decided to post it here. I would have given anything to know this before. I occasionally take lorazapam if I feel an attack might be coming on. It seems to head it off. I received this medication when I went to the hospital because I had an attack. Please check with your doctors before taking anything. This is just what worked for me personally.I hope this may be helpful to someone.
